IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P X, head laureate right; IMP XXI COS XV CENS P P P, lightweight replica of the cult statue of Minerva, from her major temple on the Aventine Hill in Rome, mounted r. onto a processional litter (ferculum), with spear and shield, owl on the litter to right (M2). This reverse probably depicts an actual event from Domitian’s youth.
