RIC 300

(R2), or is it?

RIC 300
RIC 300

AE Dupondius (29mm, 13.56g, 6h). Rome mint, struck 85 (first issue), aghon.

IMP CAES DOMITIAN AVG GERM COS XI, head radiateate right with aegis; VIRTVTI AVGVSTI, Virtus standing right, foot on helmet, with spear and parazonium, S C in field.

RIC 300 (R2, probably in error, so C).

Ex Roma.

The previous coin in the book, RIC 299, with Virtus standing left, is without any doubt the rare one (R2), but it's marked (C).  Seems to me as though the scarcity ratings were simply switched.
